Acts 17:27-28 ESV
“that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.’”
Leviticus 26:11-12 ESV
“I will make my dwelling among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people.”
(taw'-vek - From an unused root meaning to sever; a bisection, that is, (by implication) the centre: - among (-st), X between, half, X (there-, where-) in (-to), middle, mid [-night], midst (among), X out (of), X through, X with (-in).
2 Peter 1:2-8 ESV
“May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.
Faith - (complete trust or confidence in strong belief in God)
Virtue - (behavior showing high moral standards.)
Knowledge - (awareness or familiarity gained by experience of a fact or situation.)
Self-control - (or the ability to manage one's impulses, emotions, and behaviors)
Steadfastness - (the quality of being resolutely or dutifully firm and unwaveringly.)
Godliness - (the quality of being devoutly religious; pietly.)
Brotherly Affection - (a gentle feeling of fondness or liking)
Love. ***see 1st Corinthians 13***
For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
