Douglas and Virginia (Doug and Ginny) Oxford are a husband and wife music ministry team.  To learn more about them, visit the "Bio" page.  At the core of their marriage is their love for Jesus and a desire to share that love with others.   They are both singer/songwriters and pray for opportunities to play their songs and worship our Lord and Savior with those that God sends them to. 

Mostly acoustic guitar-backed music, in a various range of styles from country folk to acoustic soft rock (maybe a touch of bluegrass at times).  Having a desire to express their faith in God, the songs are either reimagined hymns, simple contemporary worship songs or original worship songs that they have written.  Doug has written Christian rock music in the past as well as some secular music that points to Christian values.  As of late, the focus as been on hymns and worship.

Douglas and Virginia will minister with their music in any venue that will allow them to do so.  However, they feel led by the Holy Spirit to focus on smaller congregations that don't usually have outside musicians come to visit, due to budget constraints.  This means that even small congregations (sometimes only up to 15 members or families, or smaller) can consider Douglas and Virginia coming to their church.  House churches, church plants, and even Christian house concerts are also in consideration.  We both desire to encourage Christians to stand strong on Biblical principles, and that pastors preach The Word of God. (2nd Timothy 4:2).  

Douglas and Virginia are motivated by their love for God.  They both feel led by Holy Spirit to reach out to Christians that are doing all they can to stand strong in these times.  Douglas and Virginia also want to see those without Christ, find a relationship with God.  They both desire to walk in the presence of God and want others to walk in that same desire. 

This is where you come in!  We need pray, support and opportunities.  If God is laying on your heart to offer any of this, then we need to be in contact!  We are approaching this as missionaries would.  We are not just a traveling music show....

The Night Watches is an online Sunday evening prayer service that Douglas and Virginia do every Sunday night.  The service lasts about 1 hour and includes a time to sing songs of worship and sometimes hymns, a time of prayer and intercession, a brief message and then a time for communion.  You can find them on Facebook and Youtube.  Our links for this are on this website.
